Volunteerism Scholarship
The late Honourable Dr. G. Raymond Chang, OC, OJ, the third Chancellor of Toronto Metropolitan University - TMU - (formerly Ryerson), was a global business leader, humanitarian, and philanthropist.
Dr. Chang believed that 'education levels the playing field,' and that the value and power of volunteerism helps to enrich the lives of others. For his deep commitment to community and nation building, he received dozens of accolades, the highest honours coming from the country of his birth, Jamaica, and the country of his choice, Canada - the Order of Jamaica and the Order of Canada. TMU's G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education was named for his generous contribution.
In honour of Dr. Chang's steadfast belief in paying it forward, we are pleased to offer two $2500 scholarships to be used for educational or job readiness expenses.
